The North Bay circuit is used once per year by the Vintage Road Racing Association (VRRA) for it's "Runway Romp".
The circuit is temporarily set up the North Bay airport grounds, using parts of the runways and taxiways. It's built in the tradition of motorcycle racing in the post-war area. The track is tight and bumpy, and spectators can get fairly close to the action.
It's a popular event for the VRRA, and attracts a lot of community support in North Bay. Due to construction work at the airport in 2012, the Runway Romp will not be run here until 2013.
Contact the VRRA for details of the event.
